Interested in what happens to Memorial Medical Center?

 Citizen’s Forum on MMC

 Wednesday, August 13, 2003

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

at the Court Youth Center

The purpose of the forum is to allow the citizens to learn about the guiding issues behind the future of Memorial Medical Center. A panel, consisting of local citizens who have information on the issue will present their perspectives. This is an opportunity for the people to ask questions and understand the complex issues behind MMC’s future.

We hope to answer questions such as:

·        Should Memorial Medical center be sold?

·        Should a Special Hospital District be formed?

·        Should we go back to the way it was governed before MMC, Inc?

·        What exactly is the current financial situation at MMC?

·        What’s the national and statewide economic picture for hospitals?

·        What are our options?
